Jet Lag, Rewritten: Simple Remedies That Work
1. Reset with light (not just caffeine)
Upon arrival, spend at least 20 minutes outdoors — no sunglasses. Natural light is the most powerful cue for your circadian rhythm. Bonus if you can do it barefoot (hello, grounding).
2. Adaptogen support
We swear by ashwagandha or magnesium glycinate for travel-induced anxiety and better sleep. Pop a capsule before your flight, and again the first few nights in a new time zone.
3. The two-meal rule
Eat your final pre-flight meal and first post-landing meal at the new local time. It helps your metabolism adjust, fast.
4. Move gently
No need for HIIT on day one. A 20-minute stretch, light yoga or walk helps lymphatic drainage and grounds you in your new place.
Spa Rituals to Recreate Wherever You Are
Whether you're in a jungle lodge or a design hotel in the Alps, these mini spa rituals travel beautifully.
1. Steam, then serum
Let a hot shower become a steam room. Afterward, apply your favorite hydrating serum immediately (we love one with hyaluronic acid). Massage it in with upward strokes — a two-minute ritual that feels like self-devotion.

If you have access to a tub, travel with magnesium flakes or bath salts. They reduce inflammation, soothe sore muscles, and help you sleep like you’re home.
